    Gilad Efrat was born in Beer-Sheva (Israel) in 1969 and currently lives and works in Tel-Aviv, Israel, where he is an Associate Professor at the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design. From 2004-2006, he lived in Houston, Texas while participating in the Core Artist-in-Residence Program, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. He received a BFA from the Bezelel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem in 1995 and an MFA from the same institution in 2003. In 2010 he was honored with a solo exhibition at the Museum of Art, Ein Harod, Israel. He has been included in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Europe, the US and Israel, and his most recent exhibition is Gilad Efrat: Negev, on view at Inman Gallery November 3, 2012 – January 5, 2013.
