Inman Gallery is pleased to present the group exhibition Related Clues. On view in the main gallery from November 4, 2011 through January 8th, 2012, Related Clues is a group exhibition which explores a slippage between 2D and 3D, between object and image and between concept and form. The artists in the exhibition, Jillian Conrad, Claire Falkenberg, Ian Pedigo and Brion Nuda Rosch, use a wide variety of media in works that display a sensitivity to edges, intersections and material quality.

Jillian Conrad (b. 1970, Farmington, NM) lives and works in Houston, TX. After receiving an MFA from Rhode Island School of Design (2004), she was a Core Artist-in-Residence at the Glassell School, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Most recently, she completed a residency at the Headlands Center for the Arts, Sausalito, CA. Her work has been included in group shows in numerous venues around the country including Socrates Sculpture Park, NY, and Lawndale Art Center, Houston. She has been awarded grants from the Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, and the Sheila Hugh McKay Foundation. Her recent exhibition "Bloom" at Champion Gallery in Austin, was reviewed by Noah Simbilist in ...might be good (July 2011).

Ian Pedigo (b. Anchorage, AK), received an MFA from UT Austin in 2002. His work has been exhibited widely since then, in group exhibitions around the country. This week, he opens a solo exhibition at Rokeby, London, and his 2010 exhibition in New York at Klaus von Nichtssagend Gallery was reviewed in Art In America. The Southern Alberta Art Gallery (SAAG) has produced the artist's first monograph (available soon).
