This work is a sequel to an older tapestry called The Night in Full Splendor (1986). Vander Lee has commented that this work is about "the benevolent power of embracing/protecting our aspirations, thereby empowering transcendence to energize/activate through the power of love.
"The yellow horizon line represents arising to enlightenment, consciousness and grace. We see a culmination and continuum of being/dwelling based upon horizontal stripes (the traditional tapestry technique of 'striping down' used to create value gradation) used here to indicate emergence of TRUTH from the depths of being, primordial, nature, subconscious. For in truth, underlying all, a deep abiding love remains basic to all being wherein profound peace is granted."
