I wove this tapestry for "American Fiber Art: a new Definition" at the Sarah Cambell Blaffer Gallery (Blaffer Art Museum) University of Houston to assert that tapestry was not a thing of the past.
Adopting a woven grid of primary colors and constructivist, geometric from, the surface remains flat yet implies depth. This banner celebrates both individual and collective wisdom to reach out in love while being grounded in truth.
